      Hobart welders are already a great value, and the refurbished price brought this within my budget for a first welder. I was shocked at the clean condition when it arrived-case and panels looked like new, and stinger/gun appears to be brand new. First welds were fantastic.

      The only reason I would not buy a recondiitioned unit would be because it was not in stock.

      I have had a Handler 135 for 15 years. This guy beats the pants off of it. My first job was on 3/8 steel so I plugged into 220V. First thing I noticed was how bright the arc was. I had to turn the shade 2 notches darker on my helmet. Also it was quite a bit hotter so my thin welding gloves will need to be upgraded. The bead was spectacular... beautiful. Looks like I am a real pro!! Love this welder.

      Own two of these, most recent is the refurbished model...is same as new. Awesome product. Easy to use. Welds amazingly on 110, hardly a need to plug into 220 outlet. You won't be disappointed.

      Very happy with what I got, everything looks brand new with one exception, the piece to adjust the tension on the rollers was installed backwards. Functions the same but you can't see the scale on the adjustment. I've gotta switch it around which should only take a minute. Shipping was very fast, everything was packaged excellently, overall very happy.

      I'm also looking for a deal. Whether it be reconditioned, floor model, demo model, of whatever - it has never bothered me; I've always found those opportunities yield the best value. My 210 MPV arrived and I couldn't tell it wasn't brand new.
